Why did they not become American citizens ? Does it take longer than 15 years? Praying for them, that they get to stay.

That was my question too. Did they renew their green cards? I certainly pray they get to stay but also pray that they "read the fine print" and know what they must do to legally remain here. I pray they can navigate all the paperwork so they can remain here.

They should go back they had enough time to become citizens. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. You are really twisting the story and saying that this is a parent issue and not an immigration issue. Anything to get clout.

Compassionate love does not mean breaking rules. If that’s the case then we are OK with open borders.

Communism always starts with the evil sinister humanistic indoctrination of our children. It takes a couple decades to set in, and then it blows up quickly into what we are seeing today. All is not lost, if we follow what we are told to do in Scripture. 2 Chronicles 7:14 gives us the remedy. “If my own people will humbly pray and turn back to me and stop sinning, then I will answer them from heaven. I will forgive them and make their land fertile once again.”

You are in favor of German asylum seekers because you happen to agree with their 'reason' for seeking asylum. Jesus did not say take in the foreigner 'that you happen to agree with.' He said to take in all the 'strangers,'. People in countries with legit persecution (such as death threats, killings) you think have no right to be here, but this nice family that can't homeschool you think rises above all the others. Shameful.

This morning their story was on the 700 club. Prayed that Gods will be done in their life, in Jesus name.
