If it talks like a terrorist and acts like a terrorist, it is a terrorist.
What's unfolding on college campuses across the country is terrorism. Call it what it is.
America's college campuses are burning with antisemitism, a byproduct of the left-wing ideology that has, for years, dominated the upper echelons of academia and poisoned the minds of so many of America's youth.
We are witnessing a poisoned generation of college students on campuses from coast to coast. What started out under the false guise of "peaceful protests" in support of a ceasefire in Israel, manifested into its true form-- the latest in a long history of hatred for the Nation of Israel. Now, terrorist-sympathizing college students are inching closer to the level of antisemitic violence we've come to expect from terrorist groups like Hamas.
For nearly thirty years, the world has designated Hamas as the terrorist organization that it is. Their goal is the erasure of Israel, and they've used fear and violence to accomplish that goal. When students at Columbia, UCLA, and elsewhere start acting like terrorists, we should treat them like terrorists.
We must root out who's funding these violent, hate-fueled riots. We sanction countries that sponsor terrorism, and must bring the hammer down on whatever individuals or groups are supporting these silver-spoon, Ivy League jihadists. Don't let the nose rings and blue hair fool you -- this is international terrorism. The rioters holding the campuses of Columbia and UCLA hostage are absolutely committing international terrorism.
The FBI's website clearly defines international terrorism as, "Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups who are inspired by, or associated with, designated foreign terrorist organizations or nations (state-sponsored).”
The anti-Israel hatred we are witnessing across America and around the globe is a continuation of a battle being waged against God's chosen people since the Old Testament. The Philistines, Amalekites, Canaanites, Babylonians, and Assyrians are different in name, but their hatred for Israel remains. And we as Believers must stand with Israel, no matter the cost.
Why? Because God commanded it. In His covenant with Abraham in Genesis 12:3, God spoke, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” We serve a God of covenant, and His covenant with Abraham still holds true today.
We can look at the protests happening around the country to see which side is right. To do this, let's examine some of Jesus' teachings in the New Testament. In Matthew 7, Jesus tells a parable of good fruit. "A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits, you will know them." One look at the campus of Columbia University will show you some rotten fruit.
I witnessed it first-hand. Last week, we held a United for Israel March on Columbia's campus. We wanted to stand in physical and spiritual solidarity with our Jewish brothers and sisters. We praised, prayed, and denounced the hatred being hurled at us and the nation of Israel. And the hatred did not relent.
Now, Columbia has descended into absolute lawlessness and violence, as these barbaric, modern-day Philistines use hate and fear to push their antisemitic message. It. Won't. Work. We know how this story ends. Those who hate God and His people will meet the same fate as the tree that doesn't bear fruit. I want my life to bear fruit.
This week, we announced that we are bringing the United for Israel March to the West Coast! We will be marching against antisemitism on the campus of the University of Southern California on May 8th at 5:30 PM
Thank you for fearlessly taking a stand for God's people! You are making a difference and setting the example for many to follow! As gentile believers we are mandated to serve our Jewish brothers and sisters in a world that contains a diabolical hostility to their existence since their beginning. This willingness to stand with Israel is very important to our Savior, who says he will redeem them and deliver them with one final Exodus and they will have their eyes open to see Yeshua Homishiac. It is our job as gentile believers to intercede and stand with the tree we are grafted into. Standing with Israel means standing with them when its difficult and unpopular! It seems many fall into the trap that they want to justify or un-justify whether they can support Israel with their own sense of judging whether or not Israel is behaving justly or unjustly. This often is a standard applied to Israel and Israel only. For example, Israel is accused of genocide in Gaza, when in reality they are faced with the highest ratio of combatants to civilians any nation has ever encountered in a conflict of this nature. Check out Jack Elbaum's article entitled, "West Point Urban Warfare Expert: IDF ‘Implemented More Measures to Prevent Civilian Casualties Than Any Other Military in History.' There is simply no comparison to how the IDF is going about rescuing their people from captivity and abuse and how the terrorist organizations are behaving and speaking. Israel has demonstrated it is not interested in genocide, all while their opposition holds the genocide of Israel as their unequivocal purpose and will not sign hostage release agreements due to this diabolically adhered to purpose. it is a holy war that only Jesus himself is going to finish, in the mean time we must choose whether we want to be working with Him or against Him. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but flesh and blood are in the battle!!! We must make intercession for Israel and put our lives on the line like Jesus did for us! This is no time to be fearful, rather, we were born for such a time as this to use our voice and walk in courage as we hold fast to our faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Our hope is in Him and His gift and calling to Israel is irrevocable. He hasn't let the enemy snuff them out for the last approx 3500 years and He's not about to fail them now. As a gentile Christian, my trust in Him is deeply bolstered as I watch Him keep his promises to Israel. God bless Israel and cause her eyes to be opened to see Yeshua for the Messiah, Amen!
Standing and praying with and for you, Sean!
There are more for us than against us!
Bless Israel!
Shalom, shalom!
